Exclamation Stripe Designs for the Carrera T!

Hey guys! Anthony here with NS2 Media. We specialize in stripe designs, renderings, and vinyl production. We usually hang around the GT3 forums, but recently we have been doing some various stripe designs for the 991 Carrera T- and discovered this is a car that can really pull off a ton of different looks. We figured we would share a few fun renderings we did here to give you guys some ideas for your 991 T's.

Please also feel free to post your custom vinyl on your Carrera T in this thread! We love seeing everybody's different styles and looks for the car.

Here are a few ideas we came up with:

Design 1 - Carrara White with Agate Grey 911 R top stripes with Speed Yellow accenting, and stock side stripes with Speed Yellow pinstripe:

Design 2 - Chalk with black Turbo Exclusive Style top stripes, black 911 R style side stripes, and guards Red accenting:

Design 3 - Carrara White with Sport Classic Grey painted front bumper and 991 Speedster style side stripe with "210" roundel as a tribute to the 911 T that won the 1968 Rallye Monte Carlo:

Design 4 - Gulf Blue Paint to Sample with dark blue Turbo Exclusive top stripes, dark blue 911 R side stripes, and Gulf Orange accenting:

Design 5 - Racing Yellow with original side stripe, and addition of Agate Grey Turbo Exclusive top stripes:

Feel free to contact us if there is a stripe design you'd like to visualize for your Carrera T. We can create basically any design you can think of, mail you vinyl samples to pick the best color, and finally mail you the final graphics. All kits are cut for the most accurate fitment and easiest installation.

Looking forward to hearing your guys' feedback and some stripe designs on your Carrera T'S!

Default 991 Targa racing stripes.

I’m not sure racing stripes would look good on the 991 Targa. I’m normally not a big fan of anything knock-off, but I would like to give my Targa a little bit of it’s own personality. What do you think of 911 R racing stripes up the hood and down the back? It’s Agate grey, so I was thinking black with a thin silver outline.

There must be someone good enough with photoshop on this forum to do stripes on a targa :-). However, it looks so classic I'm not sure it would fit.

I have wondered same thing... What would look good? My thought is a thin single stripe in center for the targa.

Or maybe just one stripe, offset from center/lined up with the steering wheel?

The Carrera T is a less-is-more sportwagen.

i like that idea. I know it’s kind of “poser”, but the intention isn’t to copy the R. But I don’t want to hear from the haters every time I pull up to a card and coffee.

I wonder if if anyone on here has the photoshop skills to do a little mock-up.

Agree with the dilemma of how to add stripes without copying the higher end cars and being a poser.

I am taking delivery of a C2 991.2 on Feb 7 (ship just docked in Benicia) and it is going straight to the shop for PPF and the addition of some stripes.

Most stripes are "racing" stripes - ie. intended to make the car look more aggressive. I am going the other way - I want my stripes to be elegant rather than aggressive.

I will post here if i like the way it looks once it's done

This was my vision of a "T" targa. All the performance options with a manual transmission. Base engine that I can wind out along the coastal roads. If I had access to an Interstate, I might have opted for GTS power. Interesting to see the yellow stitching on the "T" interiors. I have acid green that I enjoy. All fun! We are a lucky, happy bunch. Get these guys to make you your stripes! We are all different and they can always be removed if you change your mind. Their designs look natural and striking. I'm sure they would have some good ideas for a Targa. Cheers.

I’ve always liked the way the mid 2000s mustang looked in gray with subtle silver stripes.

I’ve sort of wanted to do something like this on my agate GTS.

I prefer the turbo exclusive style.

Like others, I don’t want it to look like I’m trying to look like a higher model.

Agree, I think grey stripes on silver, or silver stripes on grey is a subtle design. Here's a couple of pics of patterns I considered while thinking about what I wanted:
