At the head flange, the entrance into each runner Thanks for the pic of the merge! Matches the picture Vektor put up.

Sorry spdracerut, I never took a pic from that end. They are exactly as Vektor had shown. All nicely sanded and finished. I'm an old guy (50). We used to call it polished and ported. Its all nice and smooth and shiny. LOL

I have them all boxed up again to transport to my guy for fitment. If I remember when I pull them out, I will snap some more pics. They do not disappoint. They are very pretty LOL.

The most interesting thing is, they photograph white. Vektor had told me that they go greyish as they age. But they are sort of a metallic white, almost grey. Its an interesting colour. But when you photograph it, you don't see that, it looks pretty much white.

Thanks. They were meant to be fitted last Wednesday before my Friday track day, but Customs decided to hold them a few days and delay just enough so I couldn't get them fitted and missed my booking to have them fitted.

Oh well, I will get some time next week and have them fitted just before COBB Stage II is released.

P.S. I have PPF so don't stress about all the rubber over the car.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and review of these!

I know my car very well. I don't think I have ever driven it, without at some point during the drive, holding the foot flat to the floor. Instantly I noticed more power, and was smiling. The tone is better and deeper, but when boost comes on, its more urgent. I love it. Is it 19-25Hp increase?, or maybe its just 15Hp? I couldn't care less about that BS, I won't loose any sleep worrying about such rubbish. The car is faster and sounds great. Bring on Stage 2 to really make it perform. Its a digital response, either the car had benefited and is faster or not. Its an absolute clear YES.

Eventually I will go Akra 300 Cell Cats. If that isn't enough sound, then last of all I will do the Akra Cans. I don't want it obnoxious. My M4 had full Akrapovic including catless downpipes. (Extremely Loud) I don't want that for this one, even though I loved the performance. I like that with valves closed its close to stock noise levels, but a slightly deeper tone. With them open it now sounds like a 500Hp car should, but only slightly louder. (maybe 10%?) Definitely not too much. The car sounds mildly annoyed now. It would need the sports cats to sound pissed off.

The best way to describe it is, there was a small power piece missing from the puzzle, and that piece has been put in place now. It's like you don't miss what you never had, until it was put in place, and its like, oh wow that should have been there all along.

Do you need rear bumper removal in order to install the headers?
How easy was the installation?

Are these headers available in EU or only in US?

Wait for your next step with Akra cats. Enjoy your car. Looks great.

This is the kind of feedback that drives our passion! It's been truly humbling.

Basic666 can you please let me know the exact model of race ramps that you use?

Also can you please clarify if your car has FAL that needs to be lifted in order to use the race ramps or not?

I am thinking to purchase race ramps in order to be able to install uninstall Akra cats in my car by myself.

Thanks,
