Carrera T production stayed pretty low. I own both a GT3 and a T and if you'd told me at the outset that the GT3 would be the far more common car, I'd have laughed my head off.
Exactly! I sold my 991.2 GT3 after putting on 600 kms...best move I made hopping to the 911T.
More in response to a comment referring to a high trade in offer and just a general observation. In the car world, there are many examples of low-number examples that have a huge price bump, and it seems that sometimes it is assumed that any car made in low numbers somehow has higher value. Far more examples of something sold in low numbers simply because nobody wanted it...
OK folks here are the 2017 through to today's 2019 Porsche 991.2 statistics for the U.S.
Very cool data... Like most others, surprised at the GT car volumes! I suspect that 2019 991.2 sales will be a bit of an anomaly with the staggered cutover to the 992?
These are all great cars and Porsche keeps the low specialty cars in low production numbers. This protects the buyer of those cars.
I keep doing the numbers on trading a 991.1 3.4L for the new 991.2 smaller 3.0L and can't pay the entry fee. It seems that I am going backwards? I'll stay here for now:
Yeah, wish I could have gotten my T in that color. That is gorgeous!
Yes, dark blue metallic would have been a great color for the T. I requested PTS for the T many times with no success. I even offered to pay a significant upcharge for night blue metallic (a color I like even more than dark blue metallic), which I thought they might allow since it is offered on the base Carrera. Again, though, no dice. The T is such an incredible car... but the color palette was not a selling point.
Here's the complete North American stats for 991.2 production as of January 20, 2019. What's crazy is that we receive almost as many Carrera 4 coupes as the entirety of the US!
Here are all of the 2018 911 Production Numbers for the U.S.. I'll try and put all 991.1 together and 991.2 together when I get some additional free time:

Incredible data / Table, great work and thanks for compiling! Would love to see the 991.1 as well (particularly 2014 C4) when you have the time.I wonder if the C4 was more popular in those years.
