Default 991.1 front rotor wear - how many miles are you getting?

Have the 991.1 4S for a month now. I noticed the front rotors have some decent wear with only 14k.

Seems even more than my 997 with 40k and more than other my cars.

Any thoughts on this and is faster wear common on the 991 or a awd car? What mileage are people getting on the 991 rotors?

BTW. I actually enjoy replacing brakes

+60,000 miles here. When I was in for an oil change 2 weeks ago, the dealership noted my fronts were at 7mm (and fine) while the rears were at 4mm (and need future attention).

I have 33k miles on my rotors on my 997.2 C2S. The wear marks on the outside of the rotor are almost worn away, but I will talk to the dealer and see if they think I can get another set of pads on this set of rotors.

Just curious, about how many sets of pads over those miles?

Almost 42k, front and rears at 7mm. Second set of pads on front and rears.

I'm still on the Stuttgart pads.

87K rotors and pads original to the car.

Many spirited drives over the years, one track day, and I think PDK engine brakes enough in auto to extend brake life.

Me thinks you've bought a track rat.

I've never driven a (new) car beyond 65k miles. As a result, I've never replaced pads or rotors. However, most of my driving is highway and backroad/country miles with very little stop & go city driving. No track or autocross either.

How much was it? Through dealer or independent?
