Default Cleaning Plastic and Other Pieces

What do you guys use to clean the plastic on the doors and dash. This is plastic yes? I tried super cleaner from car guys but it leaves a visible residue. I was able to remove the residue with one more wipe with a wet cloth. But then had to wipe that off with yet another dry towel. Would love to find something that does not leave a residue behind so I can skip these last two steps.

What do you guys use to clean the metal part that you press on to get the cup holders out. I'm not sure what this material is. Looks like the same material on a portion of the steering wheel.

What about the area that your feet have to pass over ( and sometimes hit) when you get in the car? Looks like more plastic, some rubber, and another piece of aluminum ( the metal piece with "carrera" written on it)?

For the pcm screen, I suppose a lens/glasses cleaning wipe would work well?

Thanks a bunch. Trying to learn the best methods for taking care of this great car.

Tks a bunch. Trying to learn best methods for taking care of this great car.

only water on nav screen, you can use any cleaners on other parts but i just use water. If you let crud and scale build up for 5 yrs then you need to use some soaps

I highly recommend Einzett Cockpit Premium. Leves plastics as new, without any shine or residue. Been using it for years with great results in all my cars.

Once clean (soap and water), Aerospace 303 is great for rubber and plastic as a nice matte finish and the added benefit of UV protection.

For your cup holder trim (all the silver trim accents) and PCM screen, just use your favorite quick detailer spray. Use two cloths. One wet with the spray. One dry to buff clean.

Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner for most interior plastic; Stoner Invisible Glass (in spray bottle) and a magic eraser for interior window surfaces.
