Thanks so much guys. I really appreciate your feedback. Priceless.

I think my biggest hold back is the 987.2 Spyder. I just drove it for 7 hours around the backroads of Mt. Baker, WA, top down, rippin' it... hard to beat. How can I let this car go? Is aC4 GTS THAT much better?

I agree with you Bolder Mike - my favorite Porsche is my next Porsche. There's a lot of truth in that.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Thanks again!

I was on a coffee run recently with someone who had just purchased a 2016 Boxster Spyder (gorgeous car!), he just sold a 991.2 Turbo S for it. He had no regrets and loves the Spyder. So my friend, you have one heck of a first world problem.

Yeah, can't let the Spyder go. Get the 911 as a DD but keep the Spyder for weekends.

911s are a dime a dozen; Spyders are special.

I have had my 2018 C4GTS (manual transmission) as a daily driver for the past 12-months. It is in my opinion a great toy to have as a daily driver. It can handle all 4 seasons well. Albeit, in Maryland the winters are far from harsh. However, as a Canuck, I know this car will adequately handle the winters of Canada (excluding the periodic deep snow falls).

If you often drive it in Winter or wet, the 4 is best. Otherwise the 2 is best.
For a daily driver sports car, you cannot beat a GTS or S with X51 PowerKit.
if you don't want a sports car but want the best driver for daily use, the Macan Turbo with performance package is best.
I've owned 12 manuals and 2 PDKs, and I'm here to tell everybody that PDK is best - unless you don't mind going slower, and rowing around town with your right arm. And then there's always the risk of that "Money $hift" with a manual.

If it did not come with a manual I would not have bought one.
