I'm trying to convince myself not to sell my NB2 Miata. I know I'm going to regret it, just like you regret getting rid of your Spyder. Even my wife is telling me not to sell it (despite the fact that she doesn't care to ride in it anymore). Too many cars though. I want to be back to three, and the poor little Miata just sits in storage since we got the 981 Boxster GTS last year.
I daily drive a C4S....its a great DD but I spend a lot of time dodging issues in the bad roads here in the Northeast. after 10k miles of DD Im fearing the roads will really wear on the car but theres no evidence of that yet.
other than that distraction it has been really great and its a lot more fun to spend time in the Porsche than it was in my SUV.
P.S. I DD a 993 for a year and it was really hard to do given the ride and the missing standard comforts. totally different experience in the 991
PDCC is great for squeezing the last drop of performance out of the car, but it's not something you need to worry about paying extra for in a daily driver.

Thanks guys. I'll probably track it once or twice a year. I've been saying that with my current car but haven't tracked it yet, if that's any sort of indication for my future. I'll probably skip PDCC but flip for RAS.
I daily drove a 2018 c4 GTS 7MT for about 6 months. I'd rate it a 10/10. I traded it only because I have PADD just like you. I found a 911-50 in the perfect spec and decided to make the swap. I miss the GTS as a daily driver. The turbos make it a slightly better daily driver than the 50. It also had front axle lift which made difficult underground garage entry/exit less of a hassle particularly when in a hurry. Steering feel also better. Good luck with your decision. As some say, my favorite Porsche is the next Porsche.

PDCC doesn't get turned on or off. It's always on. The PDCC label on the suspension button is there just to indicate the car has PDCC, not that you are turning it on or off. And it does make the ride more comfortable in a straight line, as the sway bars are softer until you initiate a turn.
I own a 991.2 C2, but recently visited Stuttgart and rented a 991.2 4GTS for a 24 hour period. Did city, country and of course autobahn driving. Drove it 250 miles and loved every inch of the drive. Major options were PDK, PDCC and racing seats (don't get those) and other normal options like Bose and leather interior. It is really fast, rides great and hated returning it. Rock solid at autobahn speeds.
WIth that said, my C2 is a bit more fun as it feels lighter, and I like the manual transmission in my car. I'd take the GTS all day long if money was no object.

I suppose then I don't have experience without PDCC to compare if it is always active. Does the PDCC labelled button make the suspension firmer? Is it similar to PASM?
I have a 2015 C4 GTS Cab. Drive it as often as I can in the summer - almost daily. Don't drive it in the winter. Love every min of it. With Comfort inflation on the tires (Michelins 4S) it is very reasonable.
Initially I was all for the AWD, but with so many different PNANNIES you don’t need AWD unless you plan on driving in actual snow a lot.
RWD will be more fun
