Hi guys,

Two questions-

1) Why does the dealership page say M18 size? I performed this operation and it’s definitely an M12 XZN bit.
2) Does anyone have the complete set of pages from the Porsche service manual associated with this operation?

I think M12 is the size of the triple square bit and M18 is the size of the screw/threads.

I can't thank you enough. I have a 2024 718 Boxster S with a heated steering wheel. The little plastic part that turns it on and off, broke off and I had to replace the entire switch. I live near Burlington, VT and my nearest Dealership is a 2 hr. and 45 min. drive each way. Anyway, by following your excellent and clear directions, I was able to replace it myself without too much trouble. Excellent post! Thanks!
