Also, the adjustments mentioned Joec500 are also good and are covered in those install steps.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try the OEM shift **** which I have. I like the shift action of the Numeric, but not the effort required to get it into reverse or 7th gear. I assume that's the spring stiffness and I'm having to overcome the self centering force of the spring. I'll look at the videos and determine if I want to DIY or bring to a shop.

Reverse and 7th are intentionally a little harder as there are physical lockouts in the transmission to prevent mis-shifts. I might check the alignment, the spring shouldn't be THAT stiff when compared to other gears.

PS: The best shifter I have ever driven in a car was the ND Miata... You thought it and it found the gear. Snick, snick into the gears.
I hate to admit it, but I agree with you. I touch on it here in this video about my ND:

It feels more precise than my 991.2 7MT. I'll likely pick up the Numeric as well.

numeric offers a smaller diameter spring option too. I believe you can send it in and they will swap the spring out for you.

Well I have a 2021 ND Club. And yes, it has a great shifter. Maybe that's my benchmark...

I drove a friend's OEM 7MT and liked it better. I'm in my 60s but hit the gym frequently, so no you need to get stronger comments please. I'm assuming PO had the stronger springs put in. What's involved to change them? PO kept the original shifter, but not the cables -grrrr. I assume numeric cable won't work with OEM shifter. I'm in a 2019 911T
I run the numeric cables with my oem shifter in my carerra t and it feels good. Honestly not too much different than the stock cables. If you are ever in South Florida you are more than welcome to check it out/compare to your setup.

@Holdens I'd love to try the Numeric. I have a 2016 Targa 4 GTS and I don't like the shifter ... too notch / sloppy. I'm in Nashville - would love to see and sample your Numeric if you are willing.

It's a no-brainer and I think it's perfect in the 991.2 GTS I own. Initially it felt overly notchy compared to stock in a good way. I've put on around 500km since and it feels even better as it seems to break in a bit. Once you swap it you'll throw away the stock part just to avoid triggering memory of how poor it is in comparison.
