Thank you.

I've posted a second thread on a question on how the car drives.

Appreciate everyones camaraderie. And input.

Also - I'm planning on doing my oil this weekend myself.

If its that easy - why not?

Its great! seen here:

@car_cover -- my wife says "i bought it to drive - so why do I need a cover?" --- my toughts are incase I need to cover it.
Typically it will be in my garage or work parking lot.

@camera --I read an article in this forum about the how to on installing a camera which integrates with the PCM - this sounds interesting.

Can anyone recommend a shop in the San Jose CA area which works on these cars who could cleanly install the smarttop and the integrated camera.

Search the "US West Rennlist Forum" for threads on the indie shops in the south bay.

Also - my local dealer is saying that I need a 38k mile service which includes the spark plugs ...
Do I need this ? It drives great no miss fires - my current plan is I just change the oil and oil filter and the air cleaner filter ?

The car is under warranty and was certified. If i work on the car myself do I void any warranties ?

Thanks again for all the support and enthusiasm.

If you are comfortable working on your car, I’m confident you have no trouble installing the SmartTop yourself. Though the instructions are well written, I found this thread helpful:

I personally love the OEM black S wheels! Sporty look and “hide” the brake dust! But to each is his own, by all means make it “your” own. I would replace the yellow side lights w the clear ones from Suncoast! 😀

Serpentine belt DIY (and the post also includes links to other DIYs that are for plugs and air filters).
