Congratulations. Looks great and love the white and red top. Did you ever see the Porsche ad with the white and red top cab?

My wife and I picked up a white cab three weeks ago and love it.

Enjoy.

Congrats! Skip the car cover, they're totally unnecessary.

Congratulations on your car. I've seen this wireless back up camera advertised but have not used it. Might be worth a try. https://myfavouritewig.com/collections/1-tag/products/vehicle-backup-camera-esky-rear-view-camera-waterproof-high-definition-color-wide-viewing-angle-license-plate-car-camera-with-7-infrared-night-vision-led

Thanks All.

@cvtbenhogan yes we saw the commercial the day before picking up the care
Its great!

@car_cover -- my wife says "i bought it to drive - so why do I need a cover?" --- my toughts are incase I need to cover it.
Typically it will be in my garage or work parking lot.

@camera --I read an article in this forum about the how to on installing a camera which integrates with the PCM - this sounds interesting.

Can anyone recommend a shop in the San Jose CA area which works on these cars who could cleanly install the smarttop and the integrated camera.

Also - my local dealer is saying that I need a 38k mile service which includes the spark plugs ...
Do I need this ? It drives great no miss fires - my current plan is I just change the oil and oil filter and the air cleaner filter ?

The car is under warranty and was certified. If i work on the car myself do I void any warranties ?

Thanks again for all the support and enthusiasm.

Yes, it is standard to replace the spark plugs every 4 years/40k miles. One bit of advice is to go ahead change the serpentine belt early, alongside the 4 year service, that way you don't have to pay the labor cost again at 6 years to remove the rear bumper cover. You are certainly within your rights to perform services yourself. You need to keep documentation that you did the services on schedule; parts receipts help.

Gorgeous car!
