left pull - at full throttle gear shifts ?
Hi All,
Im a new owner and new to Porshe's so im not sure if this is typical behavior.
At full acceleration the car lurches to the left when shifting gears ?
Shifts are sharp and hard which is awesome!
But that little pull is annoying.
My rear tires ARE bald so this may be the cause. I hope.

why are you driving with bald tires?

I think you've answered your own question. You say you have bald tires - so think where the power is going when you engaging the clutch at full acceleration - to the bald tires that have no grip!

Yep, definitely not normal, but almost certainly explainable by your tires. Maybe the steel belt grinding into the pavement on one side is giving it extra bite . But also possibly due to misalignment which might then explain the tires, especially if they are uneven side-to-side.
I would also considering going ahead and having the Porsche dealer do an alignment, especially if there is any of the typical signs of out-of-alignment wear. I wouldn't get an alignment at any regular shop for sure. The Porsche dealer will almost certainly have a top-of-the-line Hunter machine and all the proper knowledge and settings for your particular car.

Essentially your stability management is digging for traction. Since it's tuned for tires with tread it will dig around more than usual in low traction situations like hard acceleration. It's probably cutting power or braking causing that lurch.
