"Slow down", she shouted !
Given the actual speed limit is low. I’d say at most 2nd gear to stay in the limit. What’s funny about the Dragon is Maxwrist and others use it as a racetrack and post the videos of them doing it all over YouTube with race speed runs and crossing the double yellow. You would think the cops would be into that and bust them soon as they see them show up. But I guess the local businesses like getting the money from Dragon tourists. Usual death toll is 3 to 4 people per season and lots of wadded bikes and cars. I have no plans to ever go there.
I grew up in western NC and went there years ago. Now it's been ruined.
Youthfulness and immaturity are two very different virtues. Never confuse one with the other
Wondering which one is which? The first one doesn't have fun at the expense of others, and gets zero pleasure out of making others feel worse

I hear ya, just some witty banter intended to diffuse peoples *misguided* anger who cant differentiate loud cars vs. speed. Not every response needs to be delivered with aggression, but in an attempt to get people to understand. Fight anger with a joke and people might get the stick out of their butts. That was well said though, thank you.

People love to tell other people what to do and how to live their lives. It's part of the human condition, apparently.
When I was a kid and witnessed a really fast driver on a highway, the guy driving the car I was in moved over and let him pass without a word. He told me "I have no idea whether he's late for dinner or has someone in that car who needs a doctor." Stuck with me.
