Obviously you're driving incorrectly. Correct procedure is to keep RPMs high, PSE on and blip on downshift. If you apply this approach you simply can't hear any shouting outside the cabin.

If you still hear shouting apply right foot until it goes away.

 

Happened to me as I was approaching a stop sign......so you know what happened as I left the stop......pure music............Phil

 

Last week I was crawling through a local shopping center approaching a stop sign at about 2 mph. My car was about 4 feet from the stop sign when out from the side of an SUV pops two women. The closest woman was at least a yard from the side of the roadway. Up goes her index finger, wagging at me, saying "look at you in your fancy sports car", I said thank you and told her it was result of hard work, and drove away. I think people see a Porsche and they believe they are entitled to lecture you.

 

I know, I know, it's all women... and terrible I'll tell ya...... can't live with 'em and can't shoot 'em....my third wife would scream "SLOW DOWN" when we were in "the moment" .....but I ran with SE on...... and windows up..... and the bad dog in me was looking for the checkered flag.......so let me tell ya about my fourth wife.........

 

Omg, happens to me now regularly. What is up with people against german cars these days? Especially when I way below the limit, and just moving the car.

I should have told her I bought it by stealing money from widows and orphans. How fun would that have been?

 

Jealousy and the misdeeds of a few that have reflected poorly on the brand and it's owners.

Life's too short. I generally just smile and wave. This actually has the reverse effect in that it seems to infuriate and confuse the perp!

There are many stupid people in our lives who we used to think were intelligent and we admired. This applies to all my college professor friends and my physician friends. I have never met a cohort of so many stupid people in such distinguished professions. I am a member of one of these but avoid all the small-minded folks regardless of their profession. Someone must demand they read. Very few of them do.

 

Funny, we have a saying about watching out for preachers, teachers, cops, and docs when it comes to lending as for some reason, more than normal seem to have really bad credit. What I really think it is, is that they are in positions of power that most folks that deal with them on a daily basis don't question their authority. So they think they can do as they please, including investing in things they know nothing about, and not paying their bills.
