Interim service

most interim service involves more than just oil and filter. check the owner manual but likely items are spark plugs, air filters, drive belt, brake flush to start. your lease will make stipulations on who can do the service but likely only at a porsche centre.

Thank you for all the input. I called and spoke with someone at Foreign Cars who I have dealt with in the past and have nothing but respect for. He got back to me and said that they would match the other Porsche dealership's quote in order to keep my business. I appreciate this gesture and hope that things at Foreign Cars improve. There are some really great people there and I hope to continue with Porsche /FCI for the rest of my life. You realize over time that you buy a particular car for many reasons, but poor service can really drain on that enjoyment.

If the complete interim service is done, that $ 1,100 is not far off:
* oil change
* brake flush
* filters
Plus the check list and error checks.
Priced separately in this area; oil change $350-400, brake flush $350-400 depending upon the fluid, filters $200
It’s a 911, ya’ gotta pay ta play :-)

They tried that on me.
I said just the oil change to maintain the CPO. For 700!!!
Filters and brake fluid have 6000miles them. Dont push your bs sales attempt with me.
They can wait atleast another year and ill change rhr filters myself when they need it.

I have found that in practice there is a lot of discretion between dealerships. Most around me (metro Atlanta) only seem to offer/honor the 10% discount on parts, not labor.
