991.2 COBB tune - Impressions and Dyno

I have finished with my initial go around with the first batch of bolt-on power mods. The bypass pipe provided an enormous boost to low end torque at 3K RPM. Now for the track oriented goodies and 2 race track shakedowns.
The Cobb Accessport and OTS map still continue to provide the single greatest bang for the buck. Near triple digit gains at the tires for power and torque are rather ridiculous IMHO.

The T should essentially be the same tune for Base. Did actually speak with a tuner or the person at the front desk who may or may not have a clue what the T is and is just searching COBB's own webpage?

I know someone with an 18 T... cobbed. Waiting to see how it drives. Maybe they cant promise 19 ecu will be the same. Like 17->18 macan changed the ecu and accessport didnt work....

Not sure I wanta take that route yet just wanted to ask questions. Planning on using Titans dyno next week to see the results of adding an akra pipe. No cats as on back order for 6 weeks so will post dyno info when i get it done.

I think with out the cats its possible to not have gained that much. It is a beautiful system with the flat carbon valance. Sound is not that much louder then the stock T pipe but i am happy. My guess is 15HP but we will see next week. I ll post vids & pics

Sorry for the confusion there. We DO officially support the 2019 year models. Worst case is that we find a new ROM when your ECU is sent in but we can normally quickly add support for it if this situation occurs. Thanks!

Performance gains for Akrapovic's Titanium Slip-On Muffler are: +19 hp || + 28.5 ft-lb || -9.6 lbs
Many customers purchase the Akra for the performance but the majority purchase because of all the other positives that come with it - artful looks, masterful craftsmanship, durability, & quality.
I have more of these units coming back in-stock later this month.

i might have missed it but what is the resolution for the hard fault code the OP experienced after install. I have a T on order and have been researching the Cobb option intensely. It seemed promising but I am not prepared to have a permanent ECU fault code. That would make trade in or resale very difficult.
I am also wondering about future updates that eliminates the need for removing the ECU.

So if you did the Cats first and get the 19HP, when adding cans you only pick up 4HP. But a lot of nice tone and eye candy. I am thinking of doing the Cats first. I like the idea of 300 cell and NO cell lights. I don't want it too loud or Stinky. (My Catless M4 with full Akra, I put up with for a coupe of years, but it did stink and it was insanely loud. - I'm more mature now.....Apparently Hahaha. )
But one think people forget to take into account is, When you screw the boost up. They may be meager gains now, but when you start packing a lot more in, and a lot more needs to exit, you will reap the rewards. STAGE 2 COBB not out yet. But with more boost and eventually Stage 3 the Akra will come into its own.
