Thanks Bob. I'm with you on the plate thing, not sure what one would do with a license plate number found online....especially one with a French "play on word" like mine!
The plate is registered to the owner and the owners home address. If one was interested in stealing the car or robbing a wealthy individual, they could do a license plate check, get the information, find the address and steal the car. Thats why people dont post plates, so you cannot find out where the car is parked. Common sense really.

Do you drive your car with your plate covered up? Enough said.
What you are saying is completely true, but to drive around and get your plate seen by 50 people a day in your community is not the same as posting it on a public Porsche forum on the internet which can be seen by hundreds of thousands of unscrupulous people.
I'm sorry you feel I have too much time on my hands, its Veterans Day and no work, so I thought I would come on and answer some questions.
Back to eating Oreos now..

50 people a day, you must be living in the middle of nowhere.
Don't forget the milk with your Oreos....common sense really ;-)
Any way of telling if the units being manufactured and sold now have overcome the fitment issue that previously existed ?
For customer peace of mind they should be marked as Gen 2 or something like that as proof that they are the "real deal".
There are no units out there that could have any issues at this point. The new design has been in play for months and if anyone orders one they should have perfect peace of mind! As we keep these built and in stock the majority of the time (they do move fast), most shops don't need to keep inventory as we just ship direct. If anyone does want one made specifically for them, I can provide photos along the way of your exact set being built! As always if there are any questions, concerns, or issues - we'll do what it takes to make you comfortable, happy, and whole.
We beefed up the fixtures, weld with thick heat sinks in place, and have stand alone gauges to do a final fitment check.

I’m sold on these cats! I just need my car to get here. Question: What other mods would optimize a Stage I tune (Cobb) for a GTS without going too crazy?

Stage 1 is actually meant for a completely stock car.
Stage 2 is for better Breathing, usually Exhaust - cats or catless etc and Intake or Air filter. Whilst not specifically for headers, its a great time to add them.
Stage 3 is typically Intercoolers. (By now should have full exhaust)
Stage 4 is upgraded turbo's.
With each stage typically adds more boost and more aggressive tune.

Welcome to the party! Another "not too crazy" upgrade are the headers, and Chris over at Vektor Performance has developed a nice set. I shot you back a PM, I look forward to you working with you

Any Black Friday Soul deals? I pick up my GTS tomorrow, and based of the stellar reviews I am very tempted to add some Soul cats as my first mod
