How do you rate your wife
Yes how do you rate your wife as a passenger when your DRIVING your 911 or any other sports cars as men do.
My wife likes straight on acceleration not so much in the curves. The boost button doesn't care if she ever feels that again....lol.
She has her own Volvo V60 Polestar...but it never sees boost
So 1-10 I would rate her about a 5-5 1/2 .
She does like being seen in the car but she doesn't get extra points for that.

My wife will not get into my car. She hates the way it rides. I would rate her 0/10
It's too bad.

My wife drives a Cayenne and tells me it's the best car she's ever driven and if I ever take it away she'll divorce me. I give her a 10 and not an 11 since she hasn't quite mastered the third pedal in the 911

I give my wife a 5. She loves the way the car looks, and she enjoys being in the car. She doesn't like it when I drive too fast though (?!?). She is, however, impressed when I take fast turns and the car stays glued and does not lean.
Because of the "drive too fast" issue she has with me, I give her a 10 when she is not in the car.

This could be the most dangerous thread ever posted on Rennlist.....
Plus, it will make most everyone lie on their rating.....

My wife's first comment about my new C2S was "wow, it sits really low." In fact, it doesn't sit as low as my 987.2 Boxster, but I guess she thought for the money it shouldn't be so hard to get in. FWIW, she's completely indifferent about cars. I'd rate her a 10 because her lack of emotional connection with cars, she really lets me do what I want.

5/10.
Positives
1. She wont get in my 981 without PSE engaged and the top down.
2. She always prefers to take one of our Porsches anywhere anytime over our SUVs (usually the 981)
3. She knows more about Porsches than most male Porsche drivers (from my constant babbling)
4. She loves the backfiring.
5. She will let me get as many Porsches as I want and whichever model.....but they all need to be European Delivery
6. She is a fantastic photographer
7. She drinks beer
Negatives
1. She can't drive a manual. This is actually a secret positive because I have them all to myself.
2. She is a major pain in the *** on the twisties. She has almost beat the **** out of me on about 100 occasions. This alone is minus 5 points.
3. She is a Yankee's fan

In terms of being a passenger, my wife only gets a 1-2, as she always gets nauseous riding with me.
in terms of being a wife, I can give her a 10, as she let me get my 911 on this past Mother’s Day, no less. What a woman!!!

Here is my deal:
Wife drives the Cayenne Diesel, she likes the power, but doesn't fully understand how capable the SUV is.
She knows we keep the Cayenne for our long trips for me to drive- otherwise we'd have a less expensive SUV.
Loves the fact that I'm happy with my 911, won't even think about learning to drive it with the manual transmission.
Expects me to drive spirited in the 911, but hates when you get anywhere near 6/10 of capability.
Threatens to barf in the car when the curves get fun- has never, ever happened after 30 years, so she's FOS on that threat.
Likes how we can take the 911 shopping and it's cargo capacity. We've had some fun packing the car here and there.
Tolerates my car habit, but I've been told my current 911 needs to stay around awhile (you're not the boss of me doesn't work).
All in a solid 7/10.
But wait...
We're headed to Europe in a few weeks to see the Rolling Stones in Stuttgart. We're going on a Zuffenhausen factory tour, Porsche Museum Tour and renting a 911 GTS for 24 hours- before the concert for an Autobahn blast and castle tours. Very encouraging attitude on her part.
So, i'd have to go 9/10.
