How do you rate your wife

10/10, loves the twisties and parade laps. Used to ride shotgun when we ran the Virginia City hill climb in our Ferrari. BTW, 50th Anniversary in two weeks!

My wife is a 10. She greatly indulges my Porsche passion and loves the TTS. She knows boxes show up from parts places and tuners and lets me do my own thing.
She is a good manual driver and drove my past MT Pcars. She tools around in a Macan S.

When my 997.1 was getting a little long in tooth, I told my wife to expect a sizeable bill as it was due for tires, plugs, serpentine belt, coolant, brake fluid, etc. Her response - "Sounds like you need a new car!" I was really torn, as I thought I would keep that 997 forever, but really happy with the 991. So thanks for the push Babe! (10/10)

Well when I started this thread I was looking just for passenger comfort dealing with our driving .But it turns out to be something more special.
And now feels like I need to readjust my rating. You see I rode and raced my motorcycles for 55 years, lost my lower right leg to the sport. I have had 35 bikes over the years and 24 surgeries for one thing or another. I just bought the new 2018 Honda Goldwing to do some touring before it was to late. But after 55 years of riding my body said time to hang up my spurs. My wife sense this before I did and she asked if I felt the need to leave the sport, if so she would buy me a new Porsche. Sold the month old bike two days later and bought a CPO 2017 99.2 Carrera S with a nice package and 12 k on the clock.
It sounds like we are all driving around with 10's.
Thanks everyone for the proper insight.

OMG, how high can the scale go? Over 40 years of marriage (and a couple of years together before that):
She was not put off (much) when during the first ride in my "vintage" Landcruiser, the steering shaft snapped and we ended up on the front lawn next to her parents' place.
She later moved with me across country (in the same Landcruiser).
She let me buy a race car.
She never questioned my need for at least one Porsche in the garage.
She bundled the kids and gear for camping, racing, and camping-racing (in Alaska).
She let me buy another race car.
She smiles when UPS delivers tools, parts, and tires.
She encouraged me to buy the 991 (and custom order it--and pick it up in Atlanta).
She rides shotgun with me, on any road, and any driving pace, without comment--and even if she did, she still gets the highest score.

It depends,
she was my passenger when i drove a few laps at the Nürburgring last summer in a BMW 430 rental and enjoyed it....she also drove on the autobahn and did 130mph in the BMW
she hates turbo lag....so not a fan of the Audi 2.0T cars and also anything with a soft ride.....makes her dizzy.
she cant drive a stick (well most people cant these days)
she cant handle my crazy driving sometimes
I give her 7/10
now driving skillz is a diff story LOL

My wife is a 10 for looks style taking care of me and letting me order and buy the cars I want. This is of course provided I have enough dough left over to send the kids to private schools and colleges and buy her a new car every 4-5 yrs to drive into the ground. And of course a new LV bag for Christmas. As far as Porsche wife she doesn't like car shows or drives on twisty roads. She is also a total backseat driver....so I guess i would have to give her a 5/10

My wife is a 12/10. But she has a built-in GPS navigator with her finger. Totally hates everything about my driving. But she loves our T and Macan. I just make sure she gets driving time in both cars. Plus she is a much better golfer and skier than I am (I'm a low 90's golfer and advanced/expert level skier). She also a very strong road (and mountain) cyclist and smokes most of the men around here.

10/10+ First of all, she is the big breadwinner and the reason we can afford our 911. As a passenger she has improved a lot. At first, anything beyond .7g would get her nervous. Lately she has no complaints. We have a ton of fun driving the car around. Couldn't ask for anyone better. I am a very lucky man! BTW married 36 years. The best years of my life without a doubt.

+1 hands down the winner.
I am grateful my wife lets me buy my cars. Though she pushed back on a GT3 (“too soon” - is it ever too soon for a GT3?! ) 9/10
She won’t drive my fun car, though she is a good driver - I feel safe w/ her on the autobahn doing 200 km/h (she got her licences - bike and car - in Germany) +1
She is a terrible passenger; hates twisties - becomes nauseated easily - and if I accelerate at greater than 1/3-1/2 of the pace of my 911 she protests -3 pts
I have never used launch-control w/ her ..
Sum: 9 +1 - 3 = 7/10

I was a factory rally driver...I can get her sick pretty quickly on the back roads when I flog it around. However, she has her own 911 and has tracked it. I rate her a "9". It would be a 10 but she barfed on the car once a long time ago. Now I know exactly how much I can push it.

My wife gets 0,
did not tell her I am buying the car as she is the type that always say wait. I went to the Porsche dealer to close the deal during which she called and I told her I am buying the car and she said you will regret trading my Lexus LX570.
Brought the car home and parked in the garage, she was not in at the time but when she returned had a look at the car and did not comment. Had her couple times as a passenger and she is on her cell phone checking facebook an telling me the car is loud.
So the score is Justified.
