Daily Driver?...
#32
Another daily driver checking in... 15k miles so far on a 2017 C4S - almost half of that was road trips all over the western US, but the other half was daily commuting into Seattle every day.
I get to work earlier. Not because I can drive there faster than before, but because I still get up every morning looking forward to the drive.

I have had mine just over a month. LOVE IT. However, the nutty drivers scare the hell out of me. I got it, a 2007, with 19,500 miles. Guards Red Cabriolet S, and now have 21K miles. My plan is to only put about 6k a year on it, but that might be babying the car too much now that I see other posts. Would love a Cayman S as a DD..maybe in the near future.

I live and work in a small KS town. Going to work in a 911 is just a little over the top in rural KS. However,
like probably everyone on this forum, we appreciate interesting cars. I dd a ‘93 MB 300D. And when weather is bad then the Cayenne diesel. Those old MBs are amazingly well made.

And there is the 300D tank with the Cayenne in the background

I daily drive my Targa GTS, even in Canadian winters. Only had one day this year where I couldn't take it out because there was too much snow piled up in front of the garage. Winter can be tough on the car, I am getting a post winter paint correction and wax today, however. Makes the car look like new.

I daily drive my 2014 911/50th on a 50 mile round-trip each day. I run it for two to three weeks and then throw the 1988 911 Cab into the rotation for a week. The 1988 was my daily driver for about 8 years averaging about 8K/yr but I am giving her a rest. The 991 does it all well as did the 911 Cab (after getting a Griffith's A/C retrofitted). I live in a small southern town so there are not a lot of aggressive drivers. There is a 996 GT3 in the area that I see occasionally and a few Boxsters and older 911s. No 991s other than mine that I've seen. You'll love it as your daily driver.
