thanks! that's the part where i am confused as to where that goes. I thought it was suppose to be ON the aluminum heat shield (from the top) which is why i cant get to it with the exhaust mounted LOL
I am going to see if i can do it the "correct' way WITHOUT removing the exhaust AGAIN (for the 4th time)

Just did this on my new to me 991 C4S cab.
I was thinking about the Soul system but chose to go OEM.
Parts quoted me by my dealer were equal to SunCoast prices. Install was an additional six hours, out the door.

Bumping an old thread… for those that installed the pse into a S car, is the wiring for the switch just limited to swapping out the button panel?
also if I were to get the complete kit (sans tips), I’m hoping that makes the install easier? Is there any wiring? Do I have to run anything to a wire switch pack or into the cabin?

I put the PSE in an S. Yes, you simply order the switch panel and add the switch. Have your dealer do the programming. No wiring needed at all. Just some rerouting of vacuum lines. Also the stock tips will work with a bit of adjustment.

Do I need anything more than the center muffler (and the switchpack if I want the valves to work)? Can you do it without removing the bumper?

Exhaust tips: With my search, there’s a bit of back on fourth on whether or not you can use the base S tips on the PSE center muffler. In short, unless you have an extra $1k burning a hole in your pockets, the standard tips are fine. Also if that’s the case, please send it my way. If you point a flashlight from the center of the car towards the back, you can see a bit of light coming through the gap between the tip and the new muffler. In any real world situation, you cant notice and I’m as **** as they come.

Now it can be programmed with thinkdiag. It costs around $100 and can perform PIWIS programing functions. So you can get DME reports and program other features to your car.
