Exhaust side, to actuators

Engine side coming from COV

Maybe these will help?

Correct. However the install instructions tell where it can be drilled if not already there.

thanks! that's the part where i am confused as to where that goes. I thought it was suppose to be ON the aluminum heat shield (from the top) which is why i cant get to it with the exhaust mounted LOL

I am going to see if i can do it the "correct' way WITHOUT removing the exhaust AGAIN (for the 4th time)

Great write up. I may have missed it, but was wring from the switch to the PSE difficult? Do you have any instructions on that?

In tunnel, Omg...
Do you have the part list needed for base? Cost? How difficult was the install? Most detailed posts are adding to an S. Thanks!

Just did this on my new to me 991 C4S cab.

I was thinking about the Soul system but chose to go OEM.

Parts quoted me by my dealer were equal to SunCoast prices. Install was an additional six hours, out the door.

Really sorry, never got the notification for this. Assuming it's done by now, but just so we have these resources in one place (credit to Plenum): https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...jpg-heavy.html Super easy!

Bumping an old thread… for those that installed the pse into a S car, is the wiring for the switch just limited to swapping out the button panel?

also if I were to get the complete kit (sans tips), I’m hoping that makes the install easier? Is there any wiring? Do I have to run anything to a wire switch pack or into the cabin?

I put the PSE in an S. Yes, you simply order the switch panel and add the switch. Have your dealer do the programming. No wiring needed at all. Just some rerouting of vacuum lines. Also the stock tips will work with a bit of adjustment.

Do I need anything more than the center muffler (and the switchpack if I want the valves to work)? Can you do it without removing the bumper?

If you point a flashlight from the center of the car towards the back, you can see a bit of light coming through the gap between the tip and the new muffler. In any real world situation, you cant notice and I’m as **** as they come.
Here are PSE and non-PSE tips side by side, PSE ~ 1/4 inch longer. Agree the non-PSE would work fine.

You do need a few other parts. Here's what I bought:

Muffler 99111143707
Gaskets 99111148200 X2
Vacuum hose 99111149200
Cable clamp 99965140101 X2
Holder 99111148800
Muffler & pipe nut 90091000303 X6
Combo switch - part number specific to your car

Bumper needs to come off.

Now it can be programmed with thinkdiag. It costs around $100 and can perform PIWIS programing functions. So you can get DME reports and program other features to your car.
