Excellent point on painted splitters, there it matters!! Otherwise you can replace your splitter about 8 times for the cost of the FAL.
Mine rubs every day leaving my house, but it's just scuffing the underside, can't even see it. And if I were so **** about what I can't see, I can replace it for a couple hundred bucks and be factory new.

I have 2 of the T splitters - one painted to match the mirrors during the summer, and another factory black plastic one to beat up in the winter. It was an excellent decision by Porsche for these to be swapped out / replaced so easily.

My vote would be to put some basic black wheels on - cool looking Safari!

Is anyone running the aftermarket engine and transmission mounts? Thinking about doing the softest Function First tranny mount insert and the yellow Rennline engine mounts. My car has ~40k on it and I feel like the mounts are soft.

Here's a discussion I’d like to pick the T owners group about. I currently have a nicely spec’d 2017 GTS, manual, full leather with FAL and glass roof. I have GT2 folding buckets in the car currently and have the car seats in the back for my 7 and 4 year old boys.
For some reason I have this allure to go back to a Carrera T for the lightweight enthusiast spec. I guess you could argue it’s only 40lbs or whatever, but it's more the ethos of the T and it's simple purity, useable power, minimal enthusiast spec, manual, slick top, and PCCB allure has me considering long term thoughts. I also like the unique interior with the door pulls, lightweight glass etc. part of my likes the idea of the non center lock wheels as well.
Like it’s been discussed before, so much of it is about use case and all about the spec and whether it makes sense. I think my car was 148k msrp, and the Carrera T is around 118k. Not like MSRP matters. Just trying to think what would be the more fun canyon spec or all purpose weekend driver long term.

Here‘s mine Carrera T manual, with KW HAS and wheel spacers front an rear. The car is the most puristic Carrera T I know, with zero options, except the park sensors front and rear. No sunroof, no rear seats, no extra leather and no fancy colored stitching or seat belts. Just a very pure Carrera T

I just came back from a ~700-mile driving tour of Utah. I swapped keys with many participants and got to drive a 991.2 Carrera T with 18-ways, leather, sunroof, and a tune, a 992.1 Base Cabriolet with all the options, a 996.2 GT3, etc. It further affirmed my belief that it's not the trim; it's the spec. That said...
You're a T-owner at heart; it would seem. Recent reviews paint the 992.2 GTS as a "better" GTS than the 992.1, which was a "better" GTS than the 991.2, etc. The GTS will go on for a long time, seemingly immune to getting worse, and Porsche will have made tens and tens of thousands of GTS by the time ICE GTS are dead.
There were ~1043 Carrera Ts imported to North America:
709 were manual
634 were slicktops
173 had carbon buckets
82 had PCCBs
Those four options, in combination, are found in very, very few cars—probably 50ish, maybe much fewer. One of them was totaled recently. It wasn't the first to meet that fate.
Get one now while you still can.

Could you post pictures of the interior? I've loosely thought about deleting the rear seats in my 19T (with 18-ways), I'm curious how that looks/feels with non-carbon buckets.
