Very nice, stripped down Carrera T build.

Rear seat delete, lightweight rear glass and PCM delete?

LW glass standard in US unless speccing rear wiper. PCM delete not option in US due to req’d rear camera. Will prob have dealer delete rears and install “rear seat delete kit”(aka hole plug kit).

I had to cancel my original order (long story) but just this weekend got a opportunity to jump back on a T that was cancelled by someone else. I'm already at v210 and v250 expected by mid-july, with a September delivery.

My new build is PKQB7K24 - and need to lock down the order today or tomorrow.

Any advice on two questions would be appreciated:

1. has anyone gotten the 4 way with ventilated/heated seats? When you add thsi option do they automatically make the seats Leather. This is what my SA has been told?

I'd like to stay with the cloth 4 way sports seats.

2. Are the bi-xeneon PDLS worth it? I'm concerned about weight - does any one know if they add substantial weight diff?

- The cornering lights on my current car with leds makes a big diff in my opinion especially in the evenings on small neighborhood streets.

3. I also looking into find out how much to order /paint/install just the mini duck tail before I pick up car. https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/SKU992DUCK.html

Thanks again in advance.

Thanks.

What happens if you just take the rear seats out and not put back in rear cover. Is it not safe or just aesthetically doesn't look clean/proper.

I want to eventually take rear seats out once my daughter is to talk to sit in. I like the idea of it stripped out looking.... not mention weight of all the seats and carpeting I remove.

How old is your daughter? My 22 year old daughter still fits in the back, at least for shortish journeys

I have seen 4-way with ventilated seats at dealer and it does become leather seats. With cloth, you don't get the seat ventilation.

I decided late today to tomnot get heated/ventilated seats. Didn’t want to loose those awesome fabric seats.

The seats are still cloth with just heat - that's how I configured mine.

In the UK, with 4-way seats, heated seats are standard. If ventilated, seat centres are leather and not Sport-Tex.

You can’t spec ventilated seats with buckets.

I think it will definitely be desireable and hold value better than a regular 911, but not appreciate or hold value like a gt car. Also consider we are ALL gonna drive the T every day so its not gonna be a garage queen with low miles. If I can trade mine in for >$60k after the warranty is up with 30k miles on it ill be happy. If the value is anywhere near msrp in 2 years, im trading it for a better 911. I dont think this will happen though.
Agree with most of what you wrote. Note that a GT car does not appreciate or hold value - only when new due to flippers. But keep one a few years and they depreciate just like every other 911 - which is to say better than most cars. But a GT3 will still depreciate very close to the same % as any other 911, especially when it’s 1-2 generations old.
