Curious, how many have removed the Carrera T decals from bottom of doors. I seem to change my mind every other day.
my car came as ordered with the original side decals, but I opted for the designation delete on the rear. When I ordered my car I had opted for the satin black finish on the wheels. Although I did love my car at first sight in August in Leipzig (European delivery), I got to thinking about the mix of agate gray, red, and lots of black trim bits that it had during the shipment to Seattle. I thought that three colors was too busy, I really just wanted red/black. When I was at RennSport Reunion VI, I saw many older 911T models, and decided to modify mine to tribute these models from the 70s era...
I have shared photos of my changes recently on this site it you are curious.
Interesting that a few folks got the decals but deleted the rear designation. I did the opposite because I like the fact that it says 'Carrera T' on the back. I didn't like the design of the decals.
Deleted, too busy in the back
will probably remove the PORSCHE as well from the back
keeping the side decals though, they are unique to the T
I’m not one to advertise model designation all over the car, but I do think “PORSCHE” on the rear by itself looks great (not too busy) and has a vintage/throw-back feel to it.
Its all personal taste and all is good. I may just put an old “911T” In the back
Agreed! It's funny because on the 992 i would delete the designation. There's already the 'Porsche' designation on the light bar and that's enough. On my 991.2 T I feel different. I guess it's just the way they look to me.
Anyone change the floor mats to Porsche rubbet mats or weathertech or others yet?
I usually install rubber all weather mats but the T mats are so nice. Thinking of using them as is
I got the Porsche Rubber Mats from Suncoast. I have weathertech in my Subaru and don't like them. They are too hard and the logo is too ugly for my 911.
The OEM rubber mats are actually really nice and have already saved me. I don't drive my T in bad weather but was walking through some nasty gravel parking lot and brought some dirt into the car. Just hoses right off. It's worth it.

I have the factory Porsche all weather liners and I really like them. They fit as well or better than Weathertechs that I've had in other cars and look good. My car is an all weather car so will use these in winter and might swap the carpets in summer.
