Yeah, my build kinda killed any "lightweight" claim, but that's ok. If you want lightweight, buy something else. Not many true lightweight cars any more and none that I could live with as my "toy" -- although there is some really interesting stuff out there.

No memory function in carrera T which is a bummer , but okay for me as no one else will drive it.

if you look at the configurator of S vs T you will see that 18-way on S are listed with memory package and on T it is not listed.

Lol. Just like the GT cars. 18 way seats, but hold the memory function that adds 4 oz. it's like ordering a Big Mac with a Diet Coke.

I always laugh at stuff like the fabric door pulls etc. But then my son and i were on a 737 recently and we were finding all of the tiny little weight saving measures. Different situation but they all add up. Aluminum hardware, thin plastics, etc.

Saving weight and sacrificing comfort was not an option for me. I like the 18 ways for two things: The extra depth you get from the front bolster and the lumbar support. I'm sure the 4 ways are comfortable. My T is for touring (long hours) in the seat, not tracking. To each their own though.

not on the T, they are not on the doors

even with 18-way seats configurator does not mention memory package.

I have the 18-way seats and there was no option for memory.

Finally can post this and thank all those who give their opinions, impressions, and observations on their Ts. I was able to secure an allocation in September with a build date in November. Well, she arrived in the afternoon on the 26th. I am sadly 7,200 miles away but will return on Saturday to pick her up. My sales guy was able to send some pictures after delivery.

Looking forward to sharing my observations and driving experience with you all.

Congrats, Jay! Not long now...

You’ll love the T.

Have now covered 10,850 miles in my T since April. My best car, ever.

Installed the Houndstooth/Pepita LWB seat inserts today. Easy DIY job. Takes about 45 min per seat.

Bedded these bad boys today... Used this formula:
-15 decels 50-20 MPH at .3G, 10-15 secs between
-Drove 3 miles for cooling
-15 decels 75-20 MPH at .5G, 20-30 secs between
-Drove 3 miles for cooling
-7 decels 85-20 MPH at .7G, 30 secs between
-Drove 3 miles for cooling
-4 'full' stops 60-1 MPH, Keep Rolling, 30 secs between
-Drove 5 miles home, parked in-gear, didn't set parking brake...

Tire pressure climbed a bit from the heat, no fade or soft pedal. The 'full' stops were incredible. Built up some dust, but nothing like when bedding steel brakes.

Those look amazing, I can't wait for mine. Garry (Classic FX) just finished sewing mine on Christmas Eve and they are on the way now. Are yours from the same place?
