I know the wait is killing me! I ordered in February and it finally made its way stateside. It arrived in San Diego a week ago, and according to my dealer, it is still at port awaiting to be released. Once released, it is on its way to Chandler, AZ where I can pick it up....the wait is PAINFUL!!!
Looks like a few more T's being delivered this week!
Exciting!! Just found out me T left Emden 6/7 nearly 3-4 weeks early!!! How do I figure out where this sucker is at? It needs to clear customs before they decide to put a stoopid tax on it. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Your dealer can tell you what ship it is on.
There are marine tracking sites that can tell you where that ship is at in the ocean ( and its schedule).
Its entertaining....

This is exactly what I am concerned with....if the 25% tax goes live, I will have to walk away from it...I wonder if this is why it is at customs for a week now?
It was on the Athens Highway which cleared San Diego on June 5th. We are at almost 6 days now and hasn't cleared yet - fingers crossed it happens soon!
My wife and I are halfway through a 4500 km road trip in our T. We left Toronto last Saturday morning for Knowlton, Quebec. Then we drove through Vermont and New Hampshire to Portland, Maine to have lunch. We’re now in Moncton, New Brunswick. We leave this Friday morning for Quebec City. We’ll stay in either Quebec City or Montreal overnight Friday and then back home to Toronto on Saturday morning. Our T will have just over 6,000 kms by the time we get home.
Some thoughts about our T:
Love the feel of the car through the mountains.
Finally figured how to shift from 6th to 7th. Rather than try a ‘Z’ type shift, simply push the shifter towards the glove box. Super smooth.
Spent a fair of time travelling at ‘autobahn’ speeds. Sport suspension setting is really in its element at these speeds. The car feels planted and stable.
I prefer the engine powerband while in Sport+. Seems much higher power output at 5000+ rpms at the expense of mid range torque. Sport mode seems to have more mid range torque at the expense of higher rpm power.
The 3.0L engine is impressive. Zero turbo lag. Enough HP for the street. Revs freely like a motorcycle engine.
The gear spacing with 7MT is fine for my liking. Some have complained 3rd is too tall but 3/4/5 are all spaced well for twisty mountain roads.
Tire road noise is loud (compared to our Macan) but no worse than the noise you hear with winter tires.
Best part of our road trip so far is my wife has been completely ok with my spirited driving. Normally she’s threating me with divorce if I don’t slow down.
