First impressions after 50 miles of mainly motorway driving is what a great car it is!!!! Love the manual box, a nice change from auto for once. It’s ovbiously not as much power at GTS but at no point would you say there’s not enough. Goes like stink, and that’s taking it easy. Love the interior too, I’m going to enjoy this one I think.

I'm impressed that you are trading a GTS for a T.

That says a lot about the T!!! Do you feel like a " downgrade" or more like a lateral move to something different?

What about the interior compared with the GTS?

Good question alex. More importantly, does it retain that gts magic sauce? i.e. throttle mapping, sound, sharpness? Congrats on the car

To be honest, I had not even driven a T or any other 911 manual before taking it from the dealer. I just fancied a change, the deal was great so I went for it. I had read a lot of good reviews on the T, don't get me wrong the 991.2 PDK GTS is a fantastic machine, so quick too and built to my spec but it's only a car.

Can't imagine that there are many bad 911's so it wasn't much of a risk and if I fancy a 992 next year I shouldn't lose too much on this one.

Just driving on the roads in the UK you'd have to be a much better driver than me to say the T lacked any power compared to GTS. It's way quick enough for road driving (even in the wet) I am sure a half decent driver would say they could tell the difference but the T drives fantastic in my eyes.
Do I wish the T had rear wheel steering like my GTS, possibly yes but I won't lose any sleep over it.

Love the special interior!!!!

If you have one coming or already own one.....whatever you had before, I think you will love the T. Enjoy!!!!

Did I read somewhere that those tyres are £2,500 for a set...?

Yes tyres are £2,500 but they do look good. Here is another pic.

Very nice indeed. The Carrera T looks good in all colours, I think.

With the PCCBs, bucket seats and no rear seats, will yours be regularly tracked?

Ouch, not sure I could stomach that for some tires.

I sat in buckets the other day (GT3). I have to say, I’m VERY happy I didn’t get them ... but they do look very cool.

I also tried sitting in buckets. They were very uncomfortable. I guess I'll just use them to wash the car with two of them.

Simonl72 and FJB, great builds. You have great taste. Those Pirellis with color are a very nice touch.... On another note, I found the mother lode of 911Ts at Porsche of Beverly Hills. So, they can be located in the USA.

Finally, more new cars!!! These look great.

Taking liberties, you'll see I asked the moderator to change the title of this thread. Hmm... Maybe a dig at the "NA club"!!! New name inspired from:

My car is at V300 as of 4/24 and I believe V331 was today 4/25
Anyone have an idea on when it will leave Emden and should arrive at Davisville?

Once it arrives and I have some seat time I will decide if I am keeping the 987.2 Spyder .....
