Can’t wait to hear your impressions compared to the GTS. Congrats!

Great news, Simon!

I've done over 1,000 miles in my manual T now, with no regrets. I came from a 2017 Panamera 4 and before that, a 991.1 C2, both with PDK.

Looking forward to your photos and initial thoughts on driving your T.

Cheers,

Simon.

You never forget how to drive a manual. You may be rusty, but it comes back quickly.

Agreed. I drove PDKs for two years and 29,000 miles. Had the manual T since April 6th, done over 1,000 miles and not stalled it once!

Thats why god gave us a cerebellum. You wont stall, trust me. Its gonna feel like butter. I hadnt driven a manual in 10 years before my 991.2 test drive. It was nirvana

I chose the Pirelli red colour editions tyres to complement the guards red paint . I went for ceramic brakes too so I have yellow in there too. They were very expensive (about £2500) but I get the ‘old’ tyres as spares. My brother and I are collecting the car at 10am tommorrow (25th April Weds) and we are both looking forward to seeing her. The car still has the pcm fitted ( I want it removed) but they are waiting for a piece of trim and will remove it and put the blank ‘cubby hole’ in at a later date. I will try and upload some pics Thursday night of everything as I have to work tommorrow straight after collecting the car ( we are in the boat industry and it’s peak season!) excited !

Well in the pouring rain I’ve just dropped of my 991.2 PDK GTS and got a T (manual)
First impressions after 50 miles of mainly motorway driving is what a great car it is!!!! Love the manual box, a nice change from auto for once. It’s ovbiously not as much power at GTS but at no point would you say there’s not enough. Goes like stink, and that’s taking it easy. Love the interior too, I’m going to enjoy this one I think.
