Guards Red.

When I was shopping for a 911 this color was not on my radar and the wheels were bottom of my preference list.... not they are my favorite. I'm even torn between these wheels and aftermarket.

I love it! I almost ordered my T in guards, but I was worried about being loud for my daily driver. I think red with dark accents (like a GTS) is one of the most beautiful combos.
I actually like the turbo style wheels too. I think if you powdercoat them black it could trasnform the car.

GRRRRR these are sport design wheels The wheels that were similar in the 997 were turbo. The 991 turbo are different and a lot more shiny. I am contemplating wrapping the hood black and black wheels but I always had a thing against black wheels since it hides the details. I dunno....

BTW - if I was ordering a new 911 it would absolutely be the t! Congrats and can't wait to hear your impressions.

I’d be interested in how the ride heights measure up, I recently fitted or rather had fitted TechArt Springs

my front dropped from 27.25 to 26.75 and the rear from just under 27.75 to between 27.25 and 27.5. Averaging the fronts down 1/2 and the rear just over 1/4 from SPASM

im running with 2 degrees of camber at the back and 1.3 at the front toe is factory minimum settings at the front and factory at the back

turn in and balance better and less initial understeer than SPASM

Looks great. Any comparison before/after re: handling? Loving how hunkered down and sharp these cars feel when lowered. My H&R’s are probably a bit lower than yours, but yours looks clean and low. Stance transforms the look of these cars more than any other mod. The 991 is such a low slung, flush and swoopy design, it’s completely set off by a tight wheel gap.

I've been busy lately with some projects and am kicking myself for not taking more pics.

Interestingly, 3 days later and I think the suspension is 1 or 2mm higher as it settled. I've only put about 20 miles on it but for anyone else - I recommend doing an alignment a week later.

For the 20 miles I've driven the car feels good. No different ride quality from factory as far as I can tell but again - I haven't really driven it. The .5" is very noticeable on entry/exit and you can feel sitting lower. My hypothesis was I wouldn't be able to tell but I can. Need an alignment and more seat time before I make a real judgement call.

Yeah fortunately an alignment was done to my car before I bought it. Always good to do after lowering. Will track like OEM.

K-A hi do you have any pictures of your car and approximate ride heights from ground to arch lip ?
