Looks. Great. You went with eibachs, right? Which spacers are you talking about? Spacers in the strut/shock component or spacers for the wheels to push them out a little bit?

5mm spacers to push the wheels out.

yes, I went with eibach. It’s barely lower than a SPASM car now. Eibach pro kit is the most conservative drop available for our cars.

The car looks great.

I have to wait six to eight weeks until I can mount my summer wheels and tires. Spring has not yet arrived in the Rocky Mountains (pun intended).

It's amazing what the right drop will do for these cars—they suddenly go from "nice car" to "Wow."

And red with bright painted silver wheels is, as ever, perfection.

I was looking hard at aftermarket wheels but now I'm thinking leave them. Thanks - especially coming from a Porsche magazine mogul!

I had thought this was going to be a preview of Spring drives. You really have the mod bug lately!

Great ride height, I think it’s silly they don’t let you get the cab with SPASM from the factory. This may be a dumb question, but when you change the springs can you keep the PASM magic or do you have to go to an old-school non-active firmness?

So one of the reasons for Eibach is the least amount of lowering possible (without something adjustable but I don't have any issue with the ride or handling and stock it out handled a full RUF built cayman at Treffen) and it has no effect on any electronic magic like PDCC, PASM, etc. The drop was only half an inch but you feel it getting in/out of the car and you feel lower when driving it. For me the spacing and height is perfect. Also - Some of the other kits have a more raked stance which I did not care for. Not bashing but H&R in particular looks too low [for me] in the front and I wanted a level as possible drop.

Also of note. Eiback has the Pro line and Sport line sets. The sport line is lower. As a plus, this is also the cheapest option on the market. I don't mind paying more for quality (my other mods were definitely not results of price shopping) but Eibach is a product I've used many times and trust.

With this height and the ability to pull hard on a #1 GTS - I think I'm good on performance mods

Very nice. I literally just received a set of ECS wheel spacers a few minutes ago and will install them tomorrow. 8mm up front and 12mm for the rears.
