That's my thought. Plus the PASM Sport package also raises the spoiler to a higher angle than non PASM Sport equipped cars. So the downforce in the rear could be similar to the ducktail.

Dude, you asked. Why not just spend the money and do it right? If you’re looking for like minded people who think they’re smarter than Porsche who engineered the car in the first place, you’re bound to find some out here on the interweb.
Since you solicited input, mine is that you should do it right.

What I asked is what does the module do? Nobody has answered that yet including you. If you know the answer then great let's hear it. I never said I'm smarter than a Porsche engineer but I do like to understand what things do and why. There are hundreds of aftermarket companies that improve on Porsche's. They don't build the best cars on the planet but they do build awesome cars to a price point.

I'm ready to place my order for the parts. Next question is when driving from the body shop to the dealer I'm guessing it's a good idea not to drive too fast on the fwy so the spoiler doesn't deploy. What speed does it raise at?

You're removing the motor for the spoiler as well as the spoiler when you install the ducktail. So if you're thinking the ducktail is going to raise up, that won't happen. Suncoast will email you the instructions if you want to get an idea of all that is involved.

Ducktail and module ordered. Should have them early next week. BTW Sunset Porsche has a better price plus the shipping was a lot less as I'm only a few hundred miles away vs shipping from Florida to the left coast.

Ducktail is at the shop being painted and installed. Another question, when I pick up the car and before I have the reprogramming done at the dealer will the car throw a code and a light on the dash?

Looking clean! Even though I like how the standard wing can be raise or lowered automatically or at push of a button, I dare I say the looks when the wing is raised, is not attractive at all...

Looks amazing!! Bravo!
I just went through the same process but decided to do the install myself. It's pretty straight forward once you have the awesome instructions that the very generous fellow Rennlister, Plenum provides. That gentleman's top notch. I choose not to add the sunroof module at this present time, but more than likely will do so in the near future.
I do have a quick question, did you ever get a 'Check high level brake light warning' ? I have had my dealer program out the active spoiler, don't get the spoiler malfunction warning now but keep getting the 'check high level brake light'. I've been to my local independent Porsche shop and they can't figure it out either, everything that needs to be updated using PWIIS is correct.
Just throwing it out there to the community for advice...Your car looks brilliant! Ducktails for life...
