Manual:
Blue/Black wire goes into RT1M ACC port



PDK:
RT1M ACC port connects to brown wire (car side)

Has anyone figured out how to use the factory mic, or is everyone just using the one built into the front of the HU?

Yeah, i am using the car factory mic. I posted what I did here. Only 1 of the 2 mic is utilized since we only have 1 mic input

I didn't see your results above, so I didn't know if it was working.

Any idea which pins you connected it to on the quadlock? Can you make one of your pretty pictures on which color wire from the mic jack goes to which pin in the quadlock? Please, and thank you!

I responded later that it worked, but i think it's burried somewhere
I think I connected the red to Mic+, white to Mic-, and black to Mic shield. I found this info from the Isudar thread here.
The pins are empty in the CHSTEK harness, so I just stuck those paperclips into those pins from the back of the quadlock. I can take pics this weekend.

Generally, the 3 wires are Left+, Right+, and ground. I wonder if we should be using a 2-wire set that only has one + and one - wire? Not sure about the mic shield though. But I guess if your is working...

Iirc, mic shield is the ground, but I think you can use any ground. The +/- is left/right

I updated the post above with 2 images for manual and PDK to avoid confusion since they are wired slightly differently.

Update for the literal sun as my headunit.

The Chstek guy ive been talking to his going to have his engineer "rework the software"

we shall see that that means.
