Default dealer recommendations for new build

I am planning to order a C2S. Can anyone recommend a dealer who is willing to give a good discount? Feel free to PM

NightBlue, one of the (many) great things about a custom build and order is that it's the same price everywhere, and an equalizer. So, email your build to just about every Porsche dealership within a radius you're willing to travel to, to take delivery, even out of state,. Try to dig a little (make a phone call first, and get the name of the Sales Manager), and at least address your bulk emailing to an individual name. List your exact build, list your phone number, ask them to "bid" on your build, and state that you are ready to place your order with a $2,000 (pick a number) deposit over the phone with your credit card. Make sure their offer to you pairs up properly with an Open Build Allocation, and a delivery date that works for your desired wait schedule and delivery schedule.

I'm not willing to travel anywhere to collect my car, I will have it shipped to me no matter what. I'm also not going to email every dealer in the country, but if I could run an auction of 5+ dealers that are known to be giving good discounts now, I'm sure I'll do just fine. I have 2 names from friends. If I can get a few more from rennlist I'll be all set.

You are very welcome NightBlue. John will be great to work with, he is very savvy at building these 991s. He knows his product.

Nick Murray has a very helpful video on this up on YouTube. Its basically what Lex said, with the additional step that you include your discount in the build. Watch the video, he covers this in detail, including reasonable achievable discounts, affect of ED, etc.

Saw your post and thought I would relay my recent experience.

Bob Hall at Autobahn in Ft. Worth has been my go-to Porsche salesman for the last 10 years.

I am in Sugar Land, but have consistently had the easiest time working with Bob.

I am about to complete a transaction on 12/29/17 for a 2018 GTS ordered to my specs. Local dealers were not willing to give a discount, but Bob came through again.

In addition, they have provided the lowest interest rate on financing.

By the way, I ordered the car to my specs on 11/11/17. The car will be here on 12/29/17. I was impressed!

I ended up ordering from Bob Hall at Autobahn Porsche in Ft. Worth. Bob gave me a great deal, was very responsive & helpful with my spec. I would recommend giving Bob a call if you want to buy a car. I will update the board again when I take delivery.

Congratulations. The no pressure experience that Bob provides along with the culture of the Autobahn dealerships make buying from them a no-brainer.

Enjoy in good health.
