Rubber from wiper blade grips the factory plastic piece, no adhesive, so easy on/off. 130mph OK.

You must still be in a food coma from the holiday...you forgot "vacuum like sound". You'll be yourself again in a few days...up the fiber in your diet.

Had a few warranty based items (one of the first 911 991.2 C4S delivered) and one squeak (was the felt on the back of the seat belt receptacle that was missing). ~25K miles and 20 months in and loving driving it every day. Just got the Winter tires/wheels put on before Thanksgiving.

Left it out overnight on Thanksgiving.

'17 C4S, 6mos 5K miles. 1. Squeaky front brakes. Tried bedding them as others suggested, doesn't work. Now constant, getting louder and annoying. 2. Windshield wipers sometimes go on when I go over a bump. 3. After listening to my iPod for about a hour, the stereo will mysteriously switch to sat radio, even though I have no subscription 4. Faint rattling sound from left dash near tweeter. So no major issues but prob will take it to get the brakes checked in spring when I take it back out of hibernation.

I owned a Corvette many years ago. Some of the stories here are reminiscent of my experience with that car.

Good idea. AWE has a good solution with an OEM like appearance, but thats only really applicable if you have accessible screws behind your LCA indicators.

I have to wonder how Porsche didnt notice this buffeting during testing?

That is certainly a problem in my eyes as is the lack of linearity of the go pedal... Was trying to be helpful in problems related to things breaking. If I was racing for money then I'd get the #2 over the #1 car... but until someone starts paying me for my driving - we all know which car is #1!

The engine power delivery from the 9A2 is more linear than that from the 9A1. Look at the torque and power curves.

blah blah blah - I'd rather see from driving than from reading things on the internet.

I was going to say the same thing since I own both engines and drive both every day....but didn't want to facilitate another .1 vs .2 debate.

I also have that dreaded stutter step in my 9A1.

I hear about this a lot.

Did you have it from the start or did it develop over time?

I think what a lot of people consider to "linear" is different. True, in technicality, power torque curve will show actual linearity. But in terms of feel, people use "linear" on the N/A cars a lot more because it gives a more linear sensation. Low start, climb, into big climb above 4K RPM's. It's more sensory. The .2's might have more linear curves, but the way the power comes on and how it inspires you to drive makes it feel less "linear" in a less fundamental, more feel sort of way. Also, "linear" is used a lot to substitute for throttle response. E.g a direct linear throttle response vs a boosted response which brings upon brief lag, into a swell of power.

The 9A2 is more linear, feels more linear and hits the redline harder. All you feel in the 9A1 is the engine coming on cam.

I've had it since day 1. It is worse when it is cold but it is always there.
