Here's another pic of that White vs CWM.

In the pic above, Left one (the GTS) is white. Right Cayenne is CWM. CWM is less yellow and with silver/blue undertone.

A lot of people like GT Silver and I did buy a Boxster Spyder in that color. I was not happy with the choice as the paint seemed fragile and impossible to touch up. Get a full paint protection film would be my advice, and get it early.

Conversely, the solid color Racing Yellow on my Cayman has been virtually bulletproof.

Thanks all.
The one that appeals to me is the one on the left; the warmer of the two. The one on the right looks as grey as my Campovolo 991.
Back to the OPC tomorrow to check these whites out in the flesh. Freeze point is 3 days away . Just the colour left to decide.

I would go GT Silver on a 911 T. White is nice, but it's very common. GT Silver is such a highly underrated color IMO.

Saw one at the LA show yesterday. How long since you’ve seen a new car without a rear window demister?

What !! Looking at the 'Standard Features' doc, the T makes no mention of a heated screen but it is listed for the GTS.

The button for the heated screen is there in the configurator for the T - was it not present on the show car?

Heated screen button is there in configurator and on page 23 of the brochure: https://files.porsche.com/filestore/...-Catalogue.pdf
These things can be wrong though. I'm checking with my SA. This is important to me - car will live outside, be used every day and we get a lot of frost.

Ha, that’s so cool! While I can see why that would make life difficult for my self and others when we finally get ours, I find it to be a fun little quirk.

What were your thoughts about it in the flesh? How was the interior and buckets seats? I believe the one you saw didn’t have leather, right? Pics??

Was at the LA auto show yesterday as well and I really, really liked this car, so much so I came home and built one on the configurator and am toying with the idea. I personally would go LWB which gets rid of the back seats (like the look and they are useless IMO) no leather. Yes the one at the show was buckets no leather etc. Speed Yellow and looked every bit as good as the GT3 Touring behind it to me.

If you go with LWBs, Are the insurance companies sophisticated enough to decode the Vin and charge based upon a two seater? My experience with them is that they're not so astute about things like that. With my 981 Spyder, my insurance info reads 2016 Boxster.

Very nice, but with no rear axle steering, lightweight buckets, or Burmester, why not save 10g and get a base?

Valid point; I've thought about this too. Maybe lightweight glass, SPASM, funky T interior, exterior door stripes, shorter final drive, stubby shift lever, less sound proofing, weird door openers, rear seat deletion, PTV, sports exhaust, agate grey painted exterior bits, GT steering wheel, driving mode ****, red shift pattern, mechanical diff, sports chrono pack, sports design mirrors. All of which are either extra to, or not available on, a base. UK spec, errors & omissions excepted, blah, blah, blah.

But mainly it's the irrational: Because I want one!
