Very nice cars everyone. I don't have a GTS but do love the look and performance. Not that I had an option but In the case of CL wheels (which look terrific), I would take function over form in that instance.

I have been driving this thing so much that I haven't taken any pictures since the day I picked it up!

 

For Hurricane:

I went with many of the CF options, including the mirrors, and interior choices

I also went with deviated stitching and seat belts in Racing yellow,

and the sport design lip.

 

Very sharp!!!

 

Those TA rings on the wheels are nice. When did you add them?

Vinyl or paint?

 

The rings are painted sapphire blue metallic. Had it done about 2 weeks ago.

 

Back to 5 lug versus CL for a moment. Have I read correctly that CL wheels weigh more than the 5 lug?

 

The Porsche center lock wheels are forged. They are stronger and lighter than the cast, Carrera S wheel alternative.

 

That is what I would have assumed as well, but a quick google search didn't leave me with the impression that the CLs are lighter. Anyone have real data?

 

Boulder Mike, your CXX wheels look so good that I may just have to follow your lead!

I bet the GT silver CLs on sapphire blue would look really sharp as well.

 

thank you! I think the GT silver wheels will look BETTER on the SBM than on my car b/c of the contrast. I was just dead set on GT silver b/c I'm boring!


Search for Torque Chap's car. He has a 991.1 SBM Targa GTS with GT Silver wheels. It looks awesome.
