This absolute drama over .1vs.2 is the most ridiculous, mine is bigger than yours nonsense I have seen is a Porsche forum. Makes me tired.
Going to see if 6spped and Renntech areworth a look.
technically 3.8 is bigger than 3.0. But the 3.0 is heavier.

I have joined RL since '14 when I didnt even have a Porsche yet and thought it would be great resource but to my surprise, all Im finding here, or most, people having too much time to make fun of 991.2. I thought we r all car enthusiasts? SAD!!!

I was going to email mods but as days go by, i continue to see the same bickering against 991.2 so i thought it doesn't matter.

Hope this forum will improve but if you enjoy 991.2 w simple things like sharing a nice canyon run, what mods members will be doing to their cars and sharing the experience, you could find me on ************ forum.

Same here man!

Been here way longer than this group of 991.1 people that hijacked the forum to pat themselves on the back. Notice no 991.2 people do it in 991.1 threads?

Your www.************.com suggestion is great.

“A wise man told me don't argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can't tell who is who.”

― Jay-Z

I don't think Jay-Z, or the wise man, had internet forums in mind when he said that but it's not bad advice.

People have a habit of resorting to grasping at straws in place of ceding even an inch. In practice, if you have to press the same exact viewpoint more than a couple of times, it's probably time to drop it and move on as the other party is unlikely to suddenly become enlightened by your views.

Wow, man, you've been busy over there—both as a thread starter and in terms of replies!

I see quattr0 is over there, as well.

That is correct. That is the turbo engine section though you might want to take a look at the 991 chassis section or front page. Looks like someone set a forum up in a far more useful manner.

Great content though and what you won't see here because every thread would have someone talking about engine noise. And 991.1 owners want to lecture me when they're way behind on the topic of turbocharged 911's?

Much higher quality content there. Unless you prefer threads about what watches 911 T owners wear...

I am super out of the loop here, what happened in aforementioned thread? Just aggressive arguing about if the 992 would be better than the 991.2, similar to the 991.1 vs 991.2 arguments?

Rennlist is the #1 Porsche forum. Hands down. We’ve always had ups/downs. Let’s not be too sensitive here. The dramatic ones tend to weed themselves out. Don’t think it should be that hard to stay on point and discuss each threads intended subject instead of going off topic.

Sometimes there’s too much testosterone here and the need to have the final word to make up for what goes on elsewhere in people’s lives. Maybe we should get a thread with the Wives of Rennlist
