Functionality for sure .... the .2 needs the new design to channel air into it. They changed the new design drastically to maximize the Turbo needs.

Fitment, very likely too ..

Thanks for the answers, I've always liked that rear grill.

You'll have to get the GT3T grill.

So this wouldn't look right with a ducktail correct? Since the grill has a large slot for a third brake light?

I looked at pics of the underside of the 911R engine lid and it doesnt look any different than mine so the top must be slightly different.

If you look closely at the pics of this members install you can see the grill is tilted up slightly.

Yup I fixed this a few days later, took a saw to the screws and chopped em off

YIKES . found it:

Pricey yes.... But just for point of reference, the "standard" grill is about $600, while the black plastic GTS grill is priced just a bit lower than the R grill at $2,417.87 (US List I think). I just had mine replaced and if it wasn't warranty I would have just put-up the extra bucks and bought the R grill!

Looks sweet by the way!

It looks really good.... Can't stomach the price though, I'll spend close to that on a duck - wonder how a duck and that grill would look

Re hashed this old thread as I am considering my options to add to my car. Anyone have a line on one of these and not be 3k??

GTS grill is $1300 at getporscheparts.com. 15 minute install…plug and play.

yes, a beautiful job and I thought that I should do it, that is, until I saw the hideous price for this part.

Well done. Looks great

FYI - Rennline recently started a thread asking 991 owners for ideas for new products. The number 1 request was for Rennline to produce and sell these replacement grills at a reasonable price. I think the thread is titled “Rennline New Products” if you search.

Thank you - I actually responded in that thread as well. I just can’t see why this part is 3k??

if it was 850$ they would sell a ton of them

The only justifiable reason is that such low numbers drive the cost up.

That said it’s probably priced to prevent people from building replicas
