I love the look of 911R/GT3 Touring grills. If it's not an issue, I would def. think about changing it.
For a 991.2 you purchase the GT3 touring grill. For a 991.1 you purchase the 991 R grill. Both will give you the mesh look depending on your generation.

unfortunately the 911R grill is much more expensive because apparently it’s special order and super limited production

Hey everyone,

I need some advice. I have an Akrapovic rear carbon fiber diffuser in matte finish. I’m looking to change the engine grille, but I’m torn between the following options:

• GT3 Touring
• Turbo S
• 991 R

Which one would you recommend? Thanks!

for the 991.2 you use the GT3 touring grille the 911 R grille is for the 991.1.

according to Suncoast

Suncoast Note: This will fit 2017-2019 Carrera models, but based on our research it will block vital air flow to the intercoolers. So for that reason, we don't recommend adding this to any other car.

Would this grill be an issue for the cooling system

Just bought this puppy and it arrived in the mail. Saw it on Aliexpress and thought, “Why not?”. It’s a 992 style rear grille. While I would like to put the GTS grille or the 911R grille, they are both crazy expensive and I’ve heard the gts one breaks often. It might look a little tacky but i’ll send pics when im done with the install. Only cost me like 600. If anyone wants to dupe the 911R to a more reasonable price i’ll buy that in a heartbeat.

Whelp finally finished it! I was doing the RS taillights at the same time and had a stripped bolt (had to drill into it to create hinges for my vise grip) and lost one of the plastic covers. Not without sacrifices 😂.

If you guys know the part numbers for the taillight bolts and the plastic covers i need em haha.

the aliexpress item is not worth it imo. it doesn’t use the stock bolts and the screws never fit right. It requires you to cut the original cable for the brake light and extend it, also not cool. The pieces are not oem fit and finish but from farther away it does look pretty cool.

It was hard to tell from the marketing picture, but the brake light looks terrible! It also doesn't seem to sit flush.

Ha. That huge brake light looks like a bad blister infection.
