911R Rear Grill Install

While looking for a GTS of either .1 or .2 variant, I saw a green .2 with the GT3 Touring grill fit to it. Has anyone fitted the GT3 Touring grill to the engine cover on a 991.1? Is the opening the same size in the .1 and the .2? I'm sure there would be mounting points that need to be addressed even if the fit works.

Does anyone have the 911R rear grill OEM Porsche part number(s)? I would like to compare some pricing to Suncoast. The Suncoast cost is steep, but I really like the look of that grill! TIA

Congratulations! It looks amazing. Love the grille without any model designation. Very low key.
I assume it’s lighter than stock slats?
Can you post the part numbers you used? Thanks.
Never mind. Saw it was posted.

Well, Suncoast is telling me it’ll be at least a month to get the 911R grill. I’m excited to follow the experiences of others on this thread and get this thing installed when it arrives.
At $4k+ I echoed the sentiment of others on this thread until my GTS grill broke and I thought about either buying a new one or going the 911R route. Having seen a 911R in person the rear looks truly special. An unbadged mesh grill looks even better IMO and is befitting the last and greatest NA carrera.

I kinda read somewhere that GT3 Touring grill (essentially same with 991R grill) on 991.2 turbo cars due to NA vs. turbo. Isn't that true?
I love the look of 911R/GT3 Touring grills. If it's not an issue, I would def. think about changing it.

Is the gt3(991.2) grille is cheaper?

This was a couple of years ago and I got a new one on sale for around $1200.00 (?) at GetPorsche Parts. I thought that price was ridiculous at the time. Guess it’s gotten beyond ridiculous, and moved into obscene.

Mine broke as well and it seems relatively common. If the numbers on Rennlist are any indication ? The second lowest plastic slat snapped on mine. I think the plastic gets brittle over time. The car has only been hand washed.
