Thumbs up I finally did it! TechArt Type II Wing

After much debate I finally pulled the trigger on getting a TechArt Type II wing (yes, it's genuine TechArt) and I couldn't be happier with the end result. It's pretty amazing how much it transforms the look of the car. BIG thanks to the guys at TAG Motorsports for doing a fantastic job on the paint and install, it's a perfect match. I'm really looking forward to the next DE/TT event so I can really test it out. It's currently paired with the PASM front lip, so we'll see how well they balance together. Here are a few pics I took this weekend at the SoCal Euro event.

Very nice! I've never been a "winger" but like the TechArt very much. Mine is still in paint.

I hope you installed a front spoiler as well. if you don't you will get lift upfront at high speeds and instability.

I have the SPASM front lip. We'll see how that does for now.

is your car metalic sapphire blue?

I am considering to take Techart type II wing or porsche aerokit wing.

I hope the look can be more like GT3

Assuming you install the front lip as well, does this add downforce or is it mostly cosmetic?

It provides more down force (depending on what car you have, of course) and additional air to the motor air intakes. TechArt assumes you'll also get their power kit so theoretically this provides some more cooling as well. Here is one on a 991.2 GTS:

So the tech art is a replacement for the rear wing and it remains permanently up? I would like to replace the rear wing to a similar one the 2017 turbo has.

That is correct. TAG Motorsports has lots of pics of their TTS with the Type II wing here: https://tagmotorsports.com/techart-9...ear-spoiler-ii
