Default New Cayenne design bodes poorly for 992

Looks like someone was trying to force feed a 718 until it produced foie gras but gave up and decided to sell it as a Cayenne instead.

The rear looks just like a Lincoln

Looks sort of station wagon like. Cow horn pepper?

PSCB Porsche squeak and crumble brake?

Don't think it looks bad, just kinda generic. Don't see any Porsche DNA in the design at all anymore. Just looks like a better looking Q7.

I like it. We will consider another Cayenne when it's time to sell our Audi SQ5.

I actually kind of like it. I think the Cayenne will always get a bad rap cause it was the SUV that saved the sports car company. It also doesn't help that Porsche got the Macan design perfect.

New battery:
"One particular technical highlight is the innovative lithium-ion polymer starter battery, which alone accounts for a weight saving of 10 kg over the predecessor model."

New headlights:

I don't think we'll be getting those fancy headlights in the US.

You're probably right. The PDLS+ headlights on the 991 are "detuned" for the US market already.

Porsche sells LED Matrix headlights for the Panamera that are similar, but then adds a disclaimer that feature won't be available in US models

The new tungsten-carbide brakes fascinate me... If they really do improve fade, it's probably an easy retrofit for steel brakes cars.
