I should have added "...that we didn't already know" to the end of that sentence, as that was what I meant.
This whole turbo vs. NA nonsense is just nonsense and there's no rhyme or reason why someone prefers one over the other beyond personal preference. Why does one person prefer silver cars and another blue?
There is no right or wrong and it's childish that some people feel the need to justify their decision or criticize someone else's. Who cares what someone else drives or why, as long as they're enjoying it?

In all seriousness it is a bit silly to keep hashing over this topic. Some people like salads followed by a long walk to burn off the calories. For me, I'll take the 24oz. porterhouse with a nice red wine all the way through and finish it with as much chocolate mousse as I can get. At this rate, I'll probably prefer a Cayenne over a 911 in a few years since it'll be the only thing in the Porsche line up I can fit in.

What's next? What political party are you and do you prefer a 991.1 or 991.2? Or are you gay or straight? How about what religion are you? Maybe whether you like chocolate, strawberry or vanilla? Righty or lefty? Boxers or briefs? Shirts or skins? White meat or dark meat? Blonde, brunette or redhead? Coke or Pepsi?
I mean, come on already.

34 - 14 c2S manual.
drove the turbo and n/a cars. Liked both a lot. I thought the 991.1S was a better car than a base 991.2, mainly due to the suspension options. I liked the spasm more than the standard 991.2 suspension. The biggest problem for me with the base 991.2 is the limited performance options.
i like the looks of the 991.2 better, but I think the 991.1S drives better than the 991.2.
that said, I would definitely consider a 991.2S or gts in the future.
but I don't feel like I'm missing much with my 991.1S. And to me the sound and throttle response are a lot better which is more fun for a weekend car as I'm often in the mood to wind it out when I'm driving.
for reference I came from an e90 and f80 m3.
