We produce a great 3" X-Pipe solution which can be used with the OEM cats or our HJS sport cats. We also offer the choice of retaining the OEM tips or opting for our 3" dual tips in either polished or satin black ceramic to keep the higher flow of the 3" X-Pipe. We found that the 991TT truly requires a full 3" system to get the best sound out of its inherently quiet motor.

Here are a few pictures...

Many discussions on the subject. The decision goes beyond subjective so it is important to understand not just sound, but durability and compatibility with the the TT/TTS. Also, consider dB levels if you track and the possibility that an AM system may over time compromise engine durability. After about 7k miles I am happy enough with the stock system, despite its tendency to drone at highway cruising speeds. Not sure that I need more mid-range punch from an AM exhaust system and any claims of permanently increased hp gains should be scrutinized carefully.

Good eye. Not pun intended! It's company policy now for anyone who's in the shop to wear glasses.

Very wise. We only get (at most) one pair of eyes. I did a lot of stupid things when I was young and just got lucky; I try to limit my risks with vision now.
And make sure they have shatterproof lenses. I always wear safety glasses when I do anything now, even mowing. I was mowing around some mature Norway Spruce last week and, out of nowhere, a sharp branch end swung around as I turned and hit my (shatterproof) lenses right in the middle of my left eye (and bounced off).
Good for you. And enforce it.

We have done quite a bit of the AWE Tuning 991 Turbo Exhaust System's and I also had it on my own 991 Turbo S and I absolutely LOVED the sound. It had zero drone and it was overall very exotic sounding.

They offer quite a few different tip options from utalizing OEM tips, to Quad Black or Silver Tips, to single 3" GT2 Style Tips in Black or Silver.

Check out the video! Also here is few photos of my Turbo S when Featured in European Car Magazine Last Year with the AWE Tuning Exhaust with Diamond Black Quad Tips

I have Tubi with GIAC stage tune. Sounds great.
Akrapovic's exhaust I would have done though, it was not available yet when I put the Tubi on. Not cheap !

^^^ Sounds great, must have equipped with their optional 100 cats to hear those turbo whistles. Seems a bit louder and "more dry" than EP, but hard to judge hearing from video above. I would love to hear side by side comparison with factory cats equipped, not really a fans of turbo whistles actually.

Additional hardware must be used to avoid potential CEL (according to Akra web) while EP can do without.
Their iconic exhaust tips design looks great but I like oem sytle, purely subjective.

To OP: I have the GMG system on my TTS and love it.
