Just did a exhaust on another 991 Turbo S here in house. The car had 900 miles and when it left, it was like a totally different animal!! For those who are local to us ( Not sure how many that would be... ) I invite you down to come here one in person. With a couple of days notice I can have a Turbo S here with our full exhaust.
It's also a nice excuse to get a tour of the shop

I know man that's why people call it Kaliforniastan! The one that we make that I like most of all is the 997.2 Turbo / Turbo S set up. It's got some fun grumbles/pops and stuff
For 996TT's we always tell people EP Stage II. For a tip stage 1. Same on gen 1 997.1TT's.

Read glowing Tubi reviews before (yawn)..... been there done that. Got sucked in by Tubi reviews last time.....bought one, got rid of it, never going down that road again ever. Looks same o same o to me. Far too aftermarket, piddly cats, way way overpriced for what it is, crap resale, dodgy sound and questionable performance claims, all complete deal breakers for me. Only 2 so far that would remotely motivate me changing the stock system out would be the EP or the pipe. The rest. Meh!... not even on the same planet. But thanks for sharing...

I would love to see/hear some real world NA owners chime in on their EP 991 applications and experience.

This is purely a retailer sparked thread to highlight their system, an infomercial. The guys working the keyboards at champion are only interested in promoting and selling their current product line, expecting anything else is naive. Kind of like going to a barber and asking if he thinks you need a haircut....you're getting a haircut whether you need it or not.

Yep. After I got past reading the first paragraph I though hello there is a strong smell of BS here. Then from the second paragraph onward Mr Richi Rich blew all of his credibility. It was hard to miss. Personally I think Tom should ask him to edit it back a bit for both their own sake's.
Agree Doc. I'd say anyone falling into that trap will be getting more than just a haircut. I only hope for Richi Rich's sake's he got paid to put the damn thing on.

Lol yeah well I thought it was kinda appropriate in a cynical kinda way hehe plus my daughter said hey this is one is you for sure dad! She still tells me it "so suits me" and don't you dare get rid of it! So I gotta keep her happy. I'm ahead of you in years Alex so as a very young boy I was able to watch the show with RM in it, driving a Volvo of all things (omg!)..which was very trendy and cool back then and way before Volvo got the stigma it has nowadays. Pretty cool show though. Can't recall the guy driving the XJS... I think I must have lost interest like a lot of folks when they changed actors....and cars.

From everything I have read and heard, EP is the way to go if one wants an AM exhaust.

I thought that Rich was objective, but on reflection his lengthy review was a bit much. I do not have enough experience on this or other forums to ferret out that stuff. I was a bit surprised when the OP immediately replied to my brief post thanking him for expressing his preferences on an AM exhaust. I am on this forum to learn about the 991 TT/TTS, but am not happy being jacked by anybody.

I note he is also Florida based like CMS. Probably sits in an adjoining office to Tom... And the car? ...well who knows if it is legit....it may well be Tom's project car...or another they have in the swing...who knows...who cares...it's not mine thankfully.
