Default car at dealer

Car got to dealer Sat afternoon. Did not expect it until sometime this week, as it landed in Davisville July 7. Was at dealership Sunday with gf to get her new Audi and SM from Porsche came over and told me he wanted me to see something in the shop. There it was! Should take delivery Friday and will post photos, but here are a few fuzzy iPhone shots. Got a lambskin for Rocky to sit and lay down on in back.

Car arrived 5 weeks earlier than ETA when I finalized order in mid-April.

Congrats. My car arrived in Davisville on the same day and it is STILL in PDI!!!!

Update - Dealer just told me that all 15s are awaiting EPA certification at the port. Hence the holdup. Hope I can still get it on Saturday. The radar detector/laser diffuser in my C2S is going to be removed in the next hour, and I can't trust myself to stay under the speed limit.

Thanks for the update on the EPA - I hadn't heard that before.

But - - - AndrewP's 2015 is at the dealer. And it came off the same ship onto the same port on the same day as mine. So it isn't making much sense.

Default First 2015 991 at dealership

My TTS is the first 991 the dealership has received. I just got back from finalizing the details and will take delivery Friday. The EPA hold story obviously did not factor into the delivery of my vehicle to the dealership on Sat. afternoon. Perhaps the EPA approval process is vehicle specific, although I doubt it, and mine was approved before others. All I can say is that the title document that I signed is for a 2015 991 Turbo Coupe. The car is sitting in the showroom awaiting registration. Business commitments prevent me from getting the car until Friday, but i will get it early and drive a lot that day.

Arrrrgggggghhhhh.

My wife's car was on that ship. I'm also in Boston. It passed PDI on 7/9, and it's still there, waiting for a space on a truck.

Thanks! The wheels are Sport Classic. I thought they would go well with the GT Silver paint since they are the same colour. I still remember the first 911 Turbo I saw in the late 70s, and this was the closest I could get to the look.

Thanks I know it doesn't help, but it is definitely worth the wait.

The transport truck driver picked the car up in Brunswick and it went directly to the dealer. That might be why I didn't have to wait too long between unloading at the port and delivery. My salesman called me when the transport truck showed up, so I was able to get a few pictures of it being driven off the truck.

I tried to be patient, but my wife said life with me was bad enough when it was built, and became unbearable once it was at the port.

Bad knees, those wheels look great. I may have to get a set of sport classic wheels and put winter tires on my regular TT wheels

Are the tires on those wheels 245 front and 305 rear?
