That sucks. I think I'd go crazy knowing my car has arrived and it's just waiting on a pdi.

How hard is it to remove plastic tape and checking the fluid level?

This is very strange. I have a friend of mine in Minnesota whose cas arrived at his dealership Friday and as of a few minutes ago, is still in PDI. I wonder if there is an issue that they have to address first. This whole thing with GT3 delays made me paranoid.

I always skip the PDI and have my own pro-detailer do it.

Tell them to skip the PDI, and you'll give them all 10's on the CSI survey.

Pretty unsatisfactory for someone who has bought so many vehicles from them. They should be jumping through hoops for you.

This happened to me with a Gt3. It ends up being an upgrade to the window lifts done at port side.
be patient

Default Turbo S

Two arrived at local dealership Friday. I happened to be at the dealership Saturday AM when a good friend, who may buy one, was offered the chance to drive it. I rode shotgun and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! All of you guys getting a car like this will have a blast. Stay safe!

"Skipping" a PDI...... Right. I assume you mean detailing the car after the PDI is completed. Otherwise I hope you can enjoy the car up to the 25mph limit with none of the functions operating. And be patient, many factors come into play when prepping and releasing new models even after they arrive at the dealer (both factory and dealer wise).

Good point. Yes, I meant skipping the post-PDI detail. Leave me all the plastic, foam bits, etc., I'll take care of those.

But yes, the actual PDI work (mechanical checks, inspections, etc.), please do those.
