A short vid on the Turbo S
My dealership wanted me to shoot a quick video on the new Turbo S. Enjoy!

agreed! Porsche finally put some (*****) into the exhaust. It is tough to achieve a good sound with the turbos acting like natural mufflers. The car sounds really good when you are @ wot. I wasn't able to push this car being a new vehicle. We will hopefully have some better videos with the help of some of our clients.

I picked up my TTS at the dealer, and they accounted every mile they put on the car. My salesman was almost apologetic they had to put two miles on the car during PDI, hehehe!

The video seemed to be a hit. Shared this with a few clients and sold the car the same day to one of them! I was very easy on the TTS. I certainly wouldn't beat on a brand new car. I made sure to shift before I even hit 5K. Even though the factory does not recommend the old school "break in period" I still take care when a car is that new.

Interesting statement, since page 6 of the manual says the car should be broken in for 2,000 miles during which the engine speed should not exceed 4,200 RPM. I am not arguing whether break in is necessary or not, I am just pointing out that your statement about factory recommendation is incorrect.

from the lips of an engineer I met recently when discussing the new 911s motors.
"The new motors are different now. They can be driven 100% on day one and often they are here when we take one off the assembly line for an inspection. I am sure that (they) still put something in the owners manual about driving gentle still but it isn't as important as it once was."
(They) refers to the legal department that deals with warranties etc. I do give my green clients certain guidelines to keep in mind during the first few thousand miles. You are all smart drivers, you know what is acceptable and what is not.
