Default 2015 991 Turbo s rear spoiler

Have had a 2015 991 Turbo s and an issue (I think) has been bugging me for a long time and have attempted over the years to get a definitive answer.
Here it goes.

When and under what circumstances does the rear spoiler raise to its full height?
I've seen videos and read how the wing has three positions; retracted, half-way and fully extended. One video a guy even filmed the spoiler with 4 positions!

The dealer had different answers based on the several people I talked to. Extends fully at 85mph, 100mph, has to be in Sports Plus, etc.

Bottom line, sitting in park, I can raise the rear spoiler manually to full height by pushing the spoiler button, can raise it in Sports Plus to full height as well.
But, when actually driving in Regular or Sport mode, the rear spoiler does not fully deploy at any speed as far as I can tell...Haven't driven over 130MPH

Any insights greatly appreciated.

Open your sunroof and it will deploy about 10 mph sooner.

Tough to see the deployment when driving. I had a Go-Pro camera set up one time and around 70mph it will start to deploy.

Open sunroof and put down the windows, it will go to the 3rd position at 70 and over.

I can see mine deploy when the top is up, but I have not had the chance to drive very fast with the top down due to the weather here in the NE.

Cmon warmer weather!!!

I have a 2015 Turbo S also. The rear wing raises one inch at 76 MPH and lowers again at 56 MPH. It raises fully either with the button or when in sport +, I've also been told that it raises completely when you reach a certain MPH, but I've had the car up to 170 MPH and it never raised above the one inch. If I lower my head and move it to the window I can see the corner of the rear spoiler in the one inch raised position.

I don’t know if it’s the same for coupes and cabriolets, but my cabriolet rear wing raises to the first position at 120 kph (75 mph) and to the second position at 150 kph (93 mph). The second position is higher and the angle of the wing changes also.

See the video below for a cool animated explanation.

All I know is at HPDE events, I'm always in Sport+ mode, but I manually press the F/R spoiler deployment button before leaving my stall. When I get back from a session I also manually put it down when I need to leave the track and fill up, otherwise I leave it 'open'. Sometimes it automatically retracts and sometimes it doesn't... It certainly makes a difference on track, especially under braking.

Watching this, I knew the rear spoiler extended a tad at speed, but not the front one also. This actually makes sense now, why I get BETTER MPG traveling in the 80-85mph range vs. 70-75. Last weekend driving down to the track, I had it on cruise since it's mostly all empty toll roads that early in the AM at like 82mph, got 26.2mpg driving down there. Impressive stuff!

I think someone posted this in some other discussion thread about the spoiler, but how 'exactly' do you get it into that mode? I've seen pictures and it does look pretty cool when parked.

I just learned how to do this when I was removing my wing to take off the bumper. You just have to hold the aero button down - longer than you would think. It probably takes 20-30 seconds. Eventually, the wing will go all the way up, tilt, then go back down, then back up. You just let go of the button once it’s all the way up.

Thanks, will try that when I get my car back! Got a busted tyre at my HPDE this past weekend, had to have it trailered home, waiting on replacements from Tire Rack.
